By the end of 2018, Amanda‘s life was spiraling out of control faster than she could keep up with. A lifetime of faulty programming had accumulated to struggles in her career, massive debt, a toxic relationship, self-doubt, and absolute chaos.
When the red eviction notice showed up on her door, she knew she had a decision to make. Continue on as an observer of her life, constantly struggling to find clarity and meaning or to finally start participating.
Amanda realized there was a puzzle to be solved; there simply had to be something more to this human experience than what she had witnessed so far.
With a few personal belongings and a suitcase full of clothes, Amanda packed up her Kia Rio and spent the next 15 months sleeping in Walmart parking lots, showering in gyms, and rushing over to 7eleven’s for her 3am bathroom breaks.
Though this experience was unpleasant (to say the least), it was what led Amanda to see what is real and what is important. Amanda learned who she was that year, down to the core. She realized what she was capable of and what was within her power and control.
Keeping the big picture in mind and believing, deep-down, that there was purpose, meaning, and passion to be found, Amanda made it through. Today, she proudly facilitates healing in others, helping them align with their own creative desires and vision of the future.
